Review your campaign’s content and audience before choosing when it goes out. Kirora shows who is eligible, flags setup issues and asks you to confirm the send or schedule.
What’s checked before you can send
The campaign’s Audience readiness panel and the editor’s Checklist show what Kirora checks. A campaign can’t be sent or scheduled until these are resolved:
- Unfinished parts. The email needs a sender, subject and design. A push needs an app, title and message.
- Sender not verified. The From address must be on a verified sending domain. Choose Open sending domains to fix it.
- No DMARC record. Marketing email needs a DMARC record on your domain.
- App not ready. The push app needs its key, or isn’t set up yet. Choose Open push apps.
- Empty audience. No contacts match the group, segment or rules right now.
- Nobody eligible. Contacts match, but none can receive it.
The panel also shows, for each channel, how many people it reaches and who’s left out and why: no consent, left the topic, suppressed, no email or no device. These people are skipped, but the campaign can still send to everyone else.
Some workspace rules also apply:
- Marketing email needs your postal address in Settings › General.
- If the owner has turned on Only admins and owners can send, members can prepare campaigns but an admin or owner must send or schedule them.
- If marketing email is paused for high bounces or complaints, campaign email waits until an admin resumes it. See Consent and unsubscribes.
Send now
- From Review and send, choose Save and send…. Or open the campaign and choose Send now.
- Read the summary in Send this campaign now?. It names the audience and channels.
- Choose Confirm and send.
Once sending starts, the campaign becomes read-only. Results appear on its page within minutes.
Schedule for later
- From Review and send, choose Save and schedule…. Or open the campaign and choose Schedule.
- Under Time zone, choose how to time it:
- At one moment: everyone is sent to at the same time, in your workspace’s time zone.
- At this time in each contact’s time zone: each person gets it at the same clock time where they are. Contacts without a time zone get the workspace’s. Sending runs over about 26 hours and starts up to 14 hours early, to reach the earliest time zones.
- Choose the date and time under Send at.
- Choose Review schedule, check the summary, then choose Confirm schedule.
The audience is decided when the campaign sends, not when you schedule it. Contacts who join the group or segment before then are included, and consent and unsubscribes are checked again.
Change or stop a campaign
- Scheduled: choose Unschedule to return it to draft, or Unschedule and edit to change it. A scheduled campaign can’t be edited in place.
- Sending: choose Cancel sending from the campaign’s menu. Messages still waiting are skipped. Messages already handed to the email or push service can’t be recalled. A cancelled campaign keeps its report but can’t be sent again. You can duplicate it.
- Sent or cancelled: choose Archive to tidy your list, and Unarchive to bring it back.
What can delay messages
- Quiet hours. If your Sending rules hold marketing overnight, messages due in quiet hours wait until they end, in each contact’s time zone.
- Message limits. If the campaign applies your workspace’s message limits, someone who has had too many messages recently is skipped, or waits for room. Which one depends on the campaign’s setting.
- New workspace sending limit. A new workspace starts with a daily limit on marketing email that grows each day your bounces stay low. If a campaign is bigger than today’s room, the campaign page says how many go today. The rest follow over the next days. Transactional email isn’t limited.
