How is my bill calculated?
Choose a plan and the number of emails you send a month, from $9 for 5,000 on Starter and $59 for 10,000 on Pro. That price covers your emails, and up to five times as many contacts. Send more and each extra 1,000 emails costs $2 on every paid plan, which is never cheaper than moving up a step. Push notifications are unlimited on paid plans.
What counts as an email?
Each email Kirora sends to a contact, from a campaign, a journey or the transactional API. Test sends don’t count.
What happens if I send more than my plan includes?
Extra emails are charged at your plan’s rate, from your balance if you’ve topped one up, then from your card, up to a monthly ceiling. The ceiling starts at your plan’s price and you can change it, and a campaign shows the extra charge before you send it. At the ceiling, campaigns and journeys stop until next month, but transactional email such as receipts and login codes keeps going for a grace of 10% of your monthly emails (at least 500), billed with your next payment. On the free plan, sending stops at the limit.
Which contacts count?
Every contact counts: subscribers, customers who only get receipts, app users who only get push notifications, and people who unsubscribed. Paid plans hold five times their monthly emails, and you can go 10% over before new contacts are refused; moving up a step raises it. There’s no charge per contact. The free plan holds 100.
Is there a free trial?
No. The free plan never expires, so you can try Kirora for as long as you like. Choose monthly billing to try a paid plan for one billing period, or annual billing for a discounted yearly commitment.
What does the free plan include?
3,000 emails a month, at most 100 a day, 100 contacts, 1,000 push notifications a month and 3 active journeys, with transactional email, the API and webhooks. Kiro AI helps set up your workspace, and marketing emails carry a short “Sent with Kirora” line; transactional emails and forms don’t.
How does Kiro AI work on each plan?
Paid plans include a monthly Kiro AI allowance that grows with your emails: about 300 to 4,000 requests a month ($0.90 to $11.90 of AI) on Starter and about 2,000 to 6,700 requests a month ($5.90 to $20 of AI) on Pro. It resets each month. When it runs out, Kiro pauses unless you choose to keep it on from your balance. On the free plan, Kiro only helps set up your workspace.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes, 10% off: Starter at 10,000 emails a month saves $21 a year. Your emails still reset every month, and extra emails cost the same. An annual plan isn’t refunded if you cancel mid-year: it runs to the end of the year you paid for, then moves to the free plan. You can also prepay 3 months at the monthly price.
Which currency do I pay in?
Prices are in US dollars. In some countries you can pay in your own currency, by card, bank transfer or mobile money, converted at checkout. Elsewhere, pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Is the subscription per person?
No. A plan belongs to the person who owns your workspaces and covers each one they own: 1 on Free, 2 on Starter, 5 on Pro and unlimited on Enterprise. Invite teammates to each, with their own roles.
